The best detective
That any of the law and order series had. Such a dry sense of humour.
shareHe was the most import figure in the show's long run and I include Waterson in that.
But...they over-did the clever lines stuff. Ok now and then but every single time became too much.
Miss Jerry very few like him.
Chris Meloni
shareOrbach became the biggest fan favorite, but I really think his popularity is a result of his long tenure. As he was around for so many years, the audience had a chance to become attached to him.
I think Dennis Farina (Joe Fontana) did the role better. Farina offered a level of intensity and intimidation that Orbach couldn’t
Yeah, I agree that Dennis Farina was more intense. I wouldn't have liked to be on his wrong side!
I just love Briscoe's personality.
A New Yorker played a New Yorker. Perfect.
shareTHAT MEAN OLD FUCKER THAT PUT BABY IN A CORNER WAS A DETECTIVE?...SNEAKY SON OF A BITCH!@ NOEMOJI
shareI was just looking to see if there were any comments on here about his theatre work. I mean the man does have a theatre named after him off broadway. It makes me sad that the Tony award winning actor, and singer is best remembered as Baby's father, and a detective, and not his amazing turn as Lumiere the candlestick in 1991's Beauty and the Beast. 🤣🤣
shareI HAVE TO ADMIT...YOU JUST SCHOOLED ME...I KNOW HIM AS BABY'S FATHER AND A DETECTIVE...I HAD NO IDEA HE HAD A WHOLE THEATRE NAMED AFTER HIM NOR WAS I ACTIVELY AWARE OF HIS STAGE WORK.
ALSO...I DON'T REMEMBER POSTING THAT AT ALL...NOEMOJI...LOL
Lol. It's okay. I just replied to your comment as it was the most recent in the thread. I just wanted anyone reading to know that he was more than just those roles
