No Way he Gets an Oscar Nomintion.

I haven't seen Uncut Gems yet, but there's no way the academy nominates him, no matter how much he deserves it. He's viewed to much as a goofball comic who does low brow comedies. Ask Jim Carrey about that. He should have at least two nominations, for Truman Show and Eternal Sunshine...

Even Bill Murray struggled to be taken seriously. It took Lost in Translation for him to be nominated.

I sadly agree even though he definitely deserves to be nominated. This is why the Oscars are a joke.

Adam Sandler doesn't need an award. He built a business in a difficult industry. He has a family, friends, finances, and the ability to make what he wants. It may not all be good, but he's certainly done better than most SNL Allumni.

He's got a shot because he's a jew and he's actually done a lot to represent for the jews.

Are you kidding me? LOL

Let's be honest, the Jewish community exists this long for a reason; they absolutely support each other and give breaks to each other. They're not the only ones either. Look at the East Indians in the US, the Mormons, and the Good 'Ol Boy Whites in every facet of American society. It goes along to get along.

Except for the anti Israel JINOs

Uncut Gems was entertaining but it had a something missing for me. It just felt too much like an independent Pop movie with all of the caricatures and tropes you'd expect from an East Coast urban crime caper.

Tom Hanks

While Hanks was primarily a comedic actor and did his fair share of low brow goof ball stuff, he still was held in higher regard than the guy who would bend over and talk with his butt, or the guy who did The Waterboy. Hanks could also show that he was a legit actor, even in goofball parts. He got nominated for Big, and then started doing dramatic/comedies like A League of Their Own and Sleepless in Seattle which allowed him to show his dramatic abilities, while still doing funny stuff. Then Philadelphia was the right movie at the perfect time, and he was outstanding in it, and couldn't be denied.

He didn't

Last month, Sandler may have rubbed some of them the wrong way when he joked on Howard Stern’s show: “If I don’t get [the Oscar], I’m going to f–king come back and do [a movie] again that is so bad on purpose just to make you all pay.”

“There was an arrogance to [Adam],” huffed a voting member. “It’s a lack of respect.”

In 2013, The Post wrote about insiders being miffed that Sandler was invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the organization behind the Oscars. Calling Sandler and fellow inductee Beyoncé “unworthy,” one insider said: “They’re talented in their own ways, but is that what the Academy is about?”

Hope that crusty 91 year old skag chokes on her colostomy bag.

Sandler deserved a nomination.
