Russell was joined in the cast by Donald Pleasence, Isaac Hayes, Adrienne Barbeau, Harry Dean Stanton, Ernest Borgnine, Lee Van Cleef, Tom Atkins, Charles Cyphers, Frank Doubleday, John Strobel, Season Hubley, Nancy Stephens, George Buck Flower, and Ox Baker, with some narration by Jamie Lee Curtis."

You know the entire Cast of Escape from New York are dead, excluding Russell?? 🤔 That makes this even more of a Classic to acquire on Blu Ray if it's available??

I doubt Russell returns specially without Carpenter directing.

Carpenter recently within the last year or two said he'd be potentially interested in returning for an Escape From sequel, but implied Russell was the one not interested, claiming Russell said he was "too old" to play Plissken and Carpenter was the one trying to convince him to come back. He said "never say never."
