What’s your favorite movie he has directed?

I feel like it is somewhere between Taxi Driver And Goodfellas for me.

After Hours and The King of Comedy. I can't stand his gangster movies, especially Goodfellas.

Raging Bull - great movie and best bio.
And then there’s Goodfellas (whose original title wanted to be Wise Guy), Taxi Driver. Early ones - Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore, Mean Streets, and later ones - The Irishman. Literary ones - The Age of Innocence.

Departed was done before and done better by Infernal Affairs - that one - Infernal Affairs is also a great movie and the better movie.
