This might be self-correcting. If there's one streaming service that just throws everything out there and another that is choosier and selects quality stuff only, then people will go there for their good stuff.

Think about channels like HBO developing a name for themselves as having top-tier shows. People started thinking about HBO as a place where cinema-grade entertainment could be had. Channels like NBC can chuck out all the mid-line sitcoms they want, or reality TV, or whatever - HBO was where people went for style and depth. Now it's probably thought of as much for its exhaustive amounts of nudity, but...okay, but it's still porn for classy people, right?

Is this another one of those desperate "Nobody watching my new movies, because people like escapism and there watching the Mandalorian on Disney+". I bet gets up in the morning yell all the punk kids to get off his yard.
