Go look at how the media reacted when Rush Limbaugh died. Most of the commentary was "good riddance", and the stories gleefully mentioned all the people he had attacked over the years, conveniently failing to mention the $100's of millions he raised for the Leukemia Society and other fine charities. He was never honored by the mainstream media as "one of the most popular radio hosts in history"; he was always just a "Right wing, controversial, Conservative Radio host".

We have an immigration policy in this country. Maybe it's flawed, but it exists. You go to a border-crossing and apply for citizenship or asylum. You don't jump the border in the middle of the night. Or in many cases, middle of the day, because border officials are just letting them in.
