They are going to totally ignore the fact that Jones was a self-avowed, confirmed Communist who only used Christianity as a false front to ensnare poor, devoutly religious black people.
They will hype up Jones's supposed "CIA connections" and make him into a cartoon White Supremacist, Born Again Christian Right Winger with secret orders from the Republican Party for a test-run genocide against blacks.
I'd imagine that there will be many not-so-subtle forced analogies made between Jim Jones and Donald Trump in the process.
And the public will lap it up, because, y'know, movies always tell the truth. The written history won't count because, like, who even reads anymore?
