By the Way, Woody Allen Is Innocent

A daughter staunchly maintainling accusations of her own father molesting her is very compelling. Not to mention Allen's own creepy, step daughter marrying behavior which make it all the more plausible

reply

Soon-Yi Previn wasn't his stepdaughter.

reply

Oh, you're brining facts into the matter? That'll get you everywhere with the clones! 😂

reply

Sure Dylan "staunchly" maintains her allegations. However, TWO count 'em TWO state agencies cleared Woody. Two of them. They did find significant evidence of coaching on Mia's behalf. As for his relationship with Soon-Yi, she was never his stepdaughter nor any kind of daughter. He and Farrow never lived together, and when the affair began Soon-Yi was 21 and old enough to consent. Why not actually watch the documentary and see where you are grossly wrong about your assumptions. Afraid you might have to change your view?

reply

Threadkiller is of the cult that knows not what 'change your mind to fit the facts' means.

reply

Moses staunchly maintaining brainwashing is pretty compelling, too.

reply

Thanks for posting that. It never ceases to amaze me the number of not very bright individuals who have done no research on this case suddenly become experts when regurgitating the untruths and lies that have sprung up about it over the years. I STAND WITH WOODY.

reply

I stand with Woody as well. Always did and am proud of it. And your welcome for the posting. The gentleman who put it together needs to be given some kind of an award for that comprehensive amount of work he put into it.Hell I'd shake his hand if I could.

reply

Woody's biggest mistake was to get involved with a flake.

Mia Farrow married Frank Sinatra when she was barely out of her teens. She then got her claws in a married man, Andre Previn. She is hardly one to play the saint card.

Woody is probably no saint either, but he didn't deserve to have his reputation dragged through the mud by this bitter woman. Mia was willing to carry on an affair with Woody for years probably because he kept hiring her to star in his movies. If she really wanted a "father" for her stable of adopted kids, she would've married one.

I will always love Woody Allen's films!!

reply

Listen, I personally strongly doubt that Woody Allen is guilty of all the allegations (sorry but simply can't dismiss all the accusations completely). I feel like even if there is some truth to all this, it was probably blown out of proportion. There seems to be some financial reasons involved.

Anyway, "not very bright individuals who have done no research"? This is just the other extreme and is just as bad as claiming he is guilty without doubt. Just because someone believes the allegations doesn't automatically mean that they are "not bright".

Finally, no matter which research someone could conduct, there are still unknown grey zones to all this (and the authorities more than likely have extra information that is kept secret). So we can't know for sure, so people totally dismissing each others because they don't share the same opinion doesn't anything except stopping open-minded discussion in which people take and leave information.

reply

All? What all? Mia accused him of molesting Dylan. That's one.

reply

It's common for family members having split loyalties in cases of child sexual abuse and incest when brought to light. Just look at the Phillips family. That doesn't make the idea of life long false implanted memories in multiple children (Now well adjusted adults) by a scorned mother any more plausible.

reply

Memory manipulation is plausible in circumstances like these, and in this case I would say likely.

reply

Ronan Farrow also reported witnessing inappropriate behavior by Woody Allen towards Dylan when he was a child. A scorned mother successfully implanting life long lasting false memories to the degree which you would have to believe took place in the Woody Allen daughter molestation case is basically unheard of, never mind rare.

reply

I just watched this. It's a pretty thorough documentation of the timeline, familial relationships, history, and "plot lines" of this tangled case.

Unfortunately, I think it might be preaching to the choir, though, especially when the video makes a few quips or sarcastic jokes. I don't think it will win any new converts to Woody's case. Maybe a few, one can only hope.

Team Woody

reply

Yup

reply

Police detectives and child psychologists thoroughly investigated the case and came to the conclusion that the kid was lying and Farrow had coached her to do so. Woody is innocent.

PS: Soon-Yi was not his daughter, or his adopted daughter, or his step-daughter, or a minor.

reply

It sucks that people don't do any fact-checking before arriving at a conclusion they will then defend to the death. Most Woody-haters don't even know the evidence. If somebody reviewed it and concluded he was guilty, that's one thing, but these jokers don't even know it.

reply

Dylan ought to get an Oscar for that crying performance and, oh, I can't look at a train without being traumatized. In Woody's autobiography he covers quite of bit of these accusations, and the flat out lies such as how Mia said Soon-Yi was retarded and her mother was a prostitute. When you take a close look at what has come from Mia there's more lies and distortions than fact.
