Could it have been because of a mishap/s on a movie set/s? An accident, someone careless with something flammable? Or a deliberate act/s, of arson? And what's your reasoning for thinking it was either of those, or possibly something else I didn't mention?

shareMy admittedly naive self has always thought that wildfires started from campers who didn't properly put out campfires, or maybe from cinders that traveled through the air from someone burning leaves or trash. Although with the number of billionaires affected in this particular fire I guess it does increase the suspicions of potential arson.
shareOften these thing are the result of spontaneous combustion (hay and similar dry vegetation are particularly prone to that when conditions are right), or even a lightning strike. The fires spread to new locations by strong winds and the embers floating thereon. One fire was arson and someone has been arrested.
