I think if it weren't for the fact that my boys come home for the holidays there might be years I did not put up a tree. My favorite part of Christmas decorating is the mantle and hanging up the stockings.
My parents have one of those multicolored light sets with a box on the cord that can control different patterns, too. Their lights can also play music. πΆ
I'm sorry. π I understand.
Ok thanks! I've texted this to him so he'll have it to refer to.
I think that makes you exempt from toilet paper judgement. π
I do, but she is the textbook definition of a scardey-cat. She'd probably jump and run as soon as the paper started rolling. π
That sounds very nice, and also nice that y'all still have that connection. ππ
I was hoping to hear from you. π
Here is his response:
"I have at least 4 movies of his on my watchlist, including Requiem for a Dream. Havenβt seen any of his work though."
Sounds like he plans to watch it. π
Unfortunately, my kids inherited my attention span when it comes to tree decorating. π
Beads and ribbons sound pretty. Maybe one day I'll get a little more inspired with my tree decorating. We do have four of the same Big Bird ornaments, though, that we've somehow amassed over the years. We're classy over here in fourlemons land. π
And one of each kind of tree sounds nice. The best of both worlds. π
Good point about tinsel and cats. We have a cat and she might find it far too interesting if we used it. Plus tinsel on an artificial tree just doesn't seem like a great idea. You'd have to take it back off every year or leave it there and let it get all crumpled up and neither option sounds great.
