What's your favorite 80's movie? Why?

I can't stop rewatching the 1980 movie "My Bodyguard". It's available for free on Youtube now. There were so many awesome 80's movies. Some of the comedies were absolutely stupid. But I think the 80's were the last real great decade. When the 90's rolled around, things began to change. I think everything now suck's compared to back then. But, "My Bodyguard" I can't help but think, anyone should be able too relate to, as we've all been bullied at some point in our lives.

Mad Max 2 aka The Road Warrior (1981).

It's probably my absolute favorite piece of fiction, full stop, so it's kind of a no-brainer.

Love it! It blew my mind when I was a kid.

Mad Max 2

I love post-apocalyptic movies and MM2 is the movie that started my obsession.

It isn't very good, but ...

I'm ...

Mayor McCheese...

Back to the Future [1985]
Jaws: IV The Revenge [1987]

I also liked the Karate Kid Part 1 and 2.

3 was pretty good at the beginning.

Also, "Who Framed Roger Rabbit".

Oh...I liked "The Goonies" too.

BATMAN is another good movie.

The Thing 1982.

Loved it as a 15 year old for the blood and gore. Love it now for the story.
