πŸ”‘ TELL ME ABOUT YOUR KEYCHAIN.

I ASSUME EVERYONE HAS ONE ON THEIR KEYS....OR DID AT ONE TIME.....SO WHAT IS IT?

I USED TO HAVE A STEEL POLICE NIGHTSTICK...BUT SOMEONE BORROWED MY KEYS AND LOST IT...AND BEFORE THAT IT WAS A SMALL BASKETBALL.....I HAVE NO KEYCHAIN CURRENTLY.

Well - it's very practical.

Front and back door keys. Car key, remote for the car. My CVS extra care card.

Plus a little leather piece from Kenneth Cole that says REACTION

And a Batman ornament.

That's it.

reply

I love that you have a Batman ornament on your keychain. πŸ˜‰

reply

Just a little circular brass piece with a picture from my college alma mater on it.

Cool question by the way. It gives us a little window into people's personalities. Although mine makes me sound boring. πŸ˜‚

reply

My answer just made you sound less boring.

You're welcome.

It's nice to have a friend to count on. You can count on me to hit you gently with a cinder block and I can count on you to make me sound less boring.

Never had one until some 6 years ago I visited friends living 1000 miles away who I rarely see in person.
They have a daughter who was 6 years old back then, she had gotten as a present from her parents a box full of little plastic things one can line up like pearls on a string.
She made me such a string, real colorful, quite cute, maybe 10cm long, to put on the ring with my keys.
I've kept it on until I've visited them again last october, the daughter being 13 by now, a really rebellious teenager, but when she saw that I still had that string on my keyring she was moved to tears.
Unfortunately those plastic pearls were so much worn out that they broke to pieces last month and I had to throw them away, meaning I'm back to not having one now.

That's a very sweet story and I suspect she'll always remember you kept that keychain. Small things like that can make a lasting difference.

reply

What a load of bullshit!

reply

It's a metal ring.

reply

A small basketball eh? My current one is a small baseball bat.

I used to have a "military nightstick", filled with lead and tucked under my thigh when I drove a cab during the graveyard shift in a rough military town. I'm really glad I was never forced to use it. I can't imagine how you would have something like that attached to a keychain. πŸ€”

Used to have this: https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/nvYAAOSwvGlaUwi-/s-l300.jpg - bought it for like a buck many years ago and just used it until it got old and the frog kept coming off. I think it's still somewhere around the house in a drawer somewhere. Now I have this: https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcR7Ay4OHvSADqUu10Q10QBO1bRItF2OxZ1zIQ&s but just the head as the body fell off, idk I just really liked the movie Coco and the dog wasn't available as a key chain.
