I need bifocals πŸ€“

Trying to read small print is impossible. I have to take a photo on my phone and then enlarge it.

Getting older is rubbish πŸ˜‘.

Put your hair up with a pencil behind your ear and you'll look like a sexy librarian.

Parkerbot doesn't threaten - you just fall out of a window accidentally.

I have a pair of those spring glasses. My grandmother bought them for me when I was a child and I still have them. They're good for when you're next to another car at an intersection. You can pull one eyeball out to the side and pretend to be looking at the person beside you without turning your head. Just one singular eyeball pressed against the window.

Well, I feel that I am going to need to wear eyes glasses in the near future. At least, when I am at work.

Having plenty of light makes it easier for a far sighted person to read small print.

You do not need to [pay to] get expensive prescription reading glasses. Go into a Dollar Tree or similar store, find a dimly lighted area and just try on the different strength reading glasses. One of them will work.

They now have bifocal contact lenses, for people who are both near sighted and far sighted. (Your eyes get harder as you age, making you far sighted.) They work on a completely different principle than bifocal glasses. If anyone gets bifocal contact lenses, make sure the optometrist tests your eyes in dim light, so you can get a prescription strong enough to read. I had to carry reading glasses with me anyway, since you just cannot remove contact lenses to read in poor light.

Very informative thanks!

β€˜Getting older is rubbish.’

Yeah, it can certainly feel that way for sure! But I’m also sure that we all know guys that jumped off the planet twenty or thirty years ago from bad choices.

We’re just walking around and getting used to wearing glasses.

That’s a winπŸ€“
