Do you watch Youtube? If so why?

I like watching all the varied content on it. It seems to have a pretty good assortment of movies as well, some current, and some classic. I recently watched the 1980 classic "My Bodyguard", and still love that movie! Have you ever downloaded a self made video on youtube? And was it broadcast?

reply

Watch it a lot - for hot takes on current events, funny clips, animal clips. lectures & documentaries, various niche interests (mafia, true crime, anthropology, history, how-to, how-its-made, etc, etc. its my main on-line entertainment.

I watch a very wide variety of YouTube videos. I follow many different types of channels (travel, education, science, music, how to, family, humor, political, news, tv shows, movies, foreign languages, reviews, live events and news, trailers, foreign, current affairs, etc..)

Presently, I've decided the best way to learn Chinese is through YouTube. Free lessons at my own pace!!!

reply

For trailers, funny videos, interviews with directors/actors.

Sure, sometimes you want something mindless and sometimes you might learn something you didn't know before.

If you like things Egypt related, you might enjoy this channel - History for Granite - he looks at pyramid construction.

Here's his latest video:

I love youtube. I pay for premium as I have it on my tv most of the time.

If you use it on your phone or laptop, just use duckduckgo as your browser and watch though duck player. It gets rid of the ads for free.

I've never uploaded a video. Have you?

reply

If I watch a video (counting audio), there's a 90% chance it's from YouTube because if there's a place that has what I want, it will be there.

It is the best video website for music. You can find all kinds of obscure underground music on youtube. Rumble.com is better for politics and information, but not for entertainment.
