This Movie Club will allow two things to happen:
 -people will be able to watch the same movie at the same time and interact here
-people will be able to have common movies to watch over the weekend and share reviews on my other weekly thread.   

Event #1 - Friday night, August 16th 9PM Eastern time (if you want to watch live) and event closes Sunday at 9PM (if you haven’t been able to watch live and want to share reviews in the weekly thread.)

According to imdb trivia, the film was considered groundbreaking at the time because it was one of the first sound films green-lit under the Motion Picture Production Code to portray Native Americans in a humane light. After the 1950s, the film was frequently criticized because white actors portrayed Native Americans.

The only thing I wasn’t sure about at first was the acting and finally it’s good. I’m really enjoying the film.

There was a problem with KOWALSKI, it had to be done and…there’s nothing we can do about that.
It was payback for Billy Bats, Spider, payback for a lot of things…

When he's naming their memorialized tribal members, I kept expecting the speech to veer into spoof territory with increasingly absurd names, like: "Big Che... Little Che... Hungry Joe... Onion Face... Two-toothed Charlie..."

It's kind of weird watching this movie from 1950 with all the flies buzzing around the actors because those flies are sadly long dead by now...
