Eating out at a restaurant alone. Have you done it?

I HAVE...IT'S FINE...I HAVE MORE OFTEN EATEN AT A RESTAURANT WITH SOMEONE OR MULTIPLE PEOPLE AND NOT FELT A LOSS OF AUTONOMY OR NEED TO COMPROMISE ANYTHING.
shareSure. More common to do so for lunch than dinner. But not lately, dining out has become too darn expensive. Even fast food is expensive these days.
shareNot as often as I used to, but sure, all the time. There are great little restaurants within walking distance from me, and it's nice to catch up on some reading or listen to a podcast while enjoying the food and scenery. As nyctc7 mentioned, though, it's gotten quite expensive, so I've cut back lately.
I've never been to Iceland, but on my trips to Europe, I noticed that eating out alone was very common.
Yes also...but not much anymore. One of my favorite things to do in life is to go out to eat with my three boys. We just have so much fun with it... it's a great way for me as their dad to bond and spend time with them. It sure beats eating by myself.
shareI do it every day of my life.
shareI used to skip school and go to a diner alone.
shareI go out to eat with my wife around twice a week. Sometimes we bring our kids and their friends along, but I almost never go out to eat alone.
