Moviechat’s youngest honorary member turns 10 this weekend!

I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone that has recommended hundreds of films and TV shows over the years.

We managed to see virtually all the suggestions, but unfortunately she outgrew one or two before we had time to watch them.

We’re currently wading through her two favourite shows: -
Dr Who (we’re about halfway through the Capaldi run).
Stranger Things (we’ve just started Season 3).

She’s never seen a horror film before, and because she loves Sci-Fi, I thought I’d start her off with Alien (1979).

It's very pleasant and will hopefully instill a sense of wonder and the absurd before the world tries to convince her such things aren't worth bothering with.

A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE DAUGHTER OF THE KING...NO DOUBT BOUND FOR POWER AND GLORY IN ADULTHOOD.

HOUSE (1986) IS AN EXCELLENT LIGHT HORROR FOR FRESH FANS.

I’ll give it a go (it better be good).

IT'S BEEN A TOP TEN FAVORITE SINCE I WAS YOUR DAUGHTER'S AGE.

I might get that reaction if I disappeared for a day or two.

Wow, after just a day or two? The love between a father and daughter is a truly beautiful thing. I just watched a TV episode involving a heartbroken father grieving over his dead daughter who was in the military.
