Do you think Michael Jackson was Innocent or Guilty

Of child sex abuse.

reply

I don't know. But I know this. If I had sleepovers with 12 year old boys I'd probably be in jail. The ultra rich live by different rules than the rest of us.

reply

He has been dead for over a decade , put it to rest. He was found innocent, case closed. Sadly he used bad judgement and was too trusting. It's OK to let fans visit, care, and be close friends, but exercise caution and common sense as well.

reply

Guilty.

reply

Imo, Innocent.

I think he likely did some questionable things (such as sharing a bed with a child not his own). But considering what his childhood was like, it seems to me that he was trying to live his non existence of a normal life through them.

You just need to look at his spending habits to see that he was craving lost years. Not to mention the surgery - he was trying to get away from his history so badly he completely changed himself to the point of being unrecognisable. He was lovely looking too originally but he was just a troubled soul I think.

reply

Guilty. Wish it wasn't so, but I don't know that any wealthy adult men who enjoy hanging around with strangers' kids more than their own friends and family, of which he'd have many. Most dancers I know have leagues of friends. Instead, he wanted to hang out with random people's children, go on holidays with those kids, sleep in the same bed with those kids, etc? Liking kid-related things, sure, lots of adults are Disney adults, but they still attend kid-related things with either their adult friends or their child relatives, they don't go find some random child on the street and pay them to be friends with them. It's just hard for me to buy that all that was innocent.

reply

I think he was guilty, although of course I don't know for sure because he never raped me.

I think he was a pedophile. The stories from his one-time favorite boys, the Neverland ranch with its child attracting amusement park in the middle of nowhere, the secret bedroom, the pedo art he left behind when he fled his creditors, etc. I don't know if that adds up to enough evidence to convict him in a court of law, but I'm not a juror in the court of law. I'm part of the Court of Public Opinion.

reply

A backyard with an amusement park is a cool idea. Much better than a boring tennis court. He would sometimes allow fans (adults) who showed up at the gate to spend a day at the amusement park. If I had known about that, I would've showed up, too.

reply

Letting fans play in the amusement park is nice. Picking the boys 8-12 out of the crowd of fans and inviting them to a sibling-free, parent-free party where wine is served, is NOT nice. It's creepy as all hell!

I had a huge crush on Jackson back in the day when we were both kids, but since then I've come to believe that he was a pedophile. I really can't put any other spin on his actions, if he just loved children and missed having a childhood then wouldn't he like children of all ages and both sexes? Well, he didn't, he liked boys about 8-12. That's who he chose for one-on-one personal time with a superstar, and that's the kind of preference pedophiles generally have.

reply

I thought it was generous. Who allows strangers to hangout in their backyard? Even that was risky because someone could've sued if they choked on popcorn or broke into his house. Perhaps too trusting?

There are people, especially artists, who don't conform to society so they're misunderstood, considered odd, persecuted or suspected. And rich, powerful people make their own rules with little opposition. I think Michael falls into both categories.

I believe he identified with being a young boy himself or wanted to stay one like his hero Peter Pan. Boys hangout with other boys, not girls. (Most pedophiles are straight men into young girls.)

Not having a carefree childhood did a lot of damage and he idealizes a period in life he was denied. I noticed he idealized kids as innocent and good, too. Not really true since kids can be brats, bullies and liars. Anyway, it was Deborah Rowe who suggested that he should have children since he loved them so much.

He hanged-out with adults also like Liz Taylor.

The accusers aren't credible. Two failed lie detector tests. Others received money. One father recanted his story and praised Michael. Some obviously lied or exaggerated. No evidence found and he was acquitted.

reply

I'm not going to get into those stupid old arguments about how reliable the accusers are, other than to day that lie detector tests are bullshit and nobody can recall events from their childhood in the kind of perfect detail that some of the detractors have been insisting on.

No, the statements of Robson and Safechuck just served to confirm my earlier suspicions, about a man who lived a life centered around other people's children, who never had a believable relationship with an adult man or woman, and who used to take little boys out on dates. Seriously, that's when I began to realize what Jackson really was, back in the late 80s I clued in that he wasn't taking the little boys out because he didn't have a date, they WERE his dates!

reply

Robson and Safechuck failed the lie detector tests. They're not credible. BTW, psychopaths can pass them when lying which is what makes them unreliable in courts. It has nothing to do with recalling childhood details.

You're confused by what a date is. And you're exaggerating since he had children, adult friends and was married twice.

You don't like him because he didn't conform to societal norms. That was my first point in my previous post.

Once again, he was not guilty.

reply

What's up with the statement of absolute certainty, when neither of us can never know for sure? Neither of us met him, neither of us ever got to the secret bedroom, neither of us knows a damn thing with 100% certainty. I myself have suspicions strong enough that I'd never leave a child alone with him if he were alive, but you are making a statement of absolute certainty.

And again, lie detector.tests are highly unreliable. Never put faith in those.

reply

Lie detectors are unreliable because psychopaths can pass them. Those two accusers failed.

Robson testified under oath as a defense witness that MJ never touched him. Now he's suing for money and wants a show biz career. His and Safechuck's numerous lawsuits were tossed by different judges. They need to find a j.o.b. instead of trying to find an easy payday.

The mass media sensationalizes for ratings. There was no "secret bedroom".

You're certain he is a pedophile and molester. I only stated he was found not guilty in court. His accusers are not credible to me. If someone molested my kid, I wouldn't ask to do a movie deal with him.

Most parents, including celebs, felt that their children were safe around him and they did know him.

If you want to say that Michael was odd, then I already acknowledged that. But, that alone doesn't make him a pedophile or child molester.

reply

I'm done talking to someone who refuses to let even the possibility of a clue into their brain.

Goodbye, and if you have kids DON'T leave them alone with any "odd" adult men!

reply

guilty, he looked and talked like a freak. remember seeing him a kiddo on Oprah and running out of the room in terror. very bad "vibes"
