Songs Disliked/Hated By Actual Fans of the Band

You know, a fan likes or loves every song of a group (maybe during a period - original or classic line-up), except for one.

Just my observations..

Led Zeppelin - D'yer M'aker
Chicago - If You Leave Me Now

I actually like both, not love, though. I'd say the latter song is more disliked by the fans, though.

kokomo - the beach boys

Agreed 100%. True Beach Boys fans hate it and Brian Wilson never even showed up

I want to know what the Queen Fans think of "I'm In Love With My Car"!

Gearheads apparently consider it to be the greatest song ever recorded, as Jeremy Clarkson spent his whole run on "Top Gear" using lyrics from it in his reviews of supercars. But what do the Queen fans think?

I hate it, myself.

Just listened to it. Oh yuck.

Personally I think Queen jumped the shark with "Bohemian Rhapsody". The first two albums are excellent. "Bohemian Rhapsody" is gay camp top 40 schlock.

Going to bend the rules of the thread a little here. Queen. I like their more straight up rock songs, but when they do stuff like "Bohemian Rhapsody", "I want to break free", "Bicycle song" that is just pure cringe factor to me.

A lot of fans of the original Van Halen turned their noses up at songs from the Sammy Hagar years. The reverse does not appear to be true.

I like D'yer Mak'er. I think that some of the songs that bands put out to be jokes tend to be such ear worms that they end up being big hits. I also appreciate when bands stray from their usual sound. I don't always like it, but after awhile the same old, same old can get boring.

I like it, too, especially the chorus. Two simple chords, (Am-G), but effective.

The one I heard was Mr. Roboto by Styx.
