How was YOUR 2022 in terms of content consumption?

I barely watched anything this year. This was my "least productive year" in terms of watching stuff in a decade.

I think it mostly has to do with the fact that I moved THREE times this year. I've never moved more than once in a calendar year in my entire lifetime.

Also, the stuff I watched were mostly old stuff on my watchlist. This year's offerings looked mostly unappealing to me. Even the superhero genre was weak this year.

Further down every year. At least it is becoming easier to identify movies I probably will not like before seeing them. Easy to avoid the writers/directors I know I do not like but hard to avoid entire production studios. The days of making money catering to what the people like are giving way to making money telling the people what to like.

Luckily there is plenty in the golden past to access.

Condolences on three moves. They say that two full moves are as bad as having a total house fire. Having had to do that within a 6 month period, I'd agree. Can't imagine 3.

In terms of moving, I'm glad with this final move that I'm on my own.

This time I don't "have to" unpack or settle in right away. Less stress, ya know...

around 100 movies. few tv series this year. it wasn't a great year for tv.

If you mean content produced in 2022 then I also watched very little. I still prefer old movies or just surfing Youtube over the crap they make now.

I didn’t think if it in that way when I first replied here. For films made in 2022 I’ve only seen 3.

I mostly watched YouTube, a few Discovery Channel-type shows I like but have seen several times, Murdoch Mysteries, Star Trek (both TOS and TNG) and a few movies, but nothing really new or noteworthy.
