Have you ever played in person Dungeons and Dragons?

I played for less than two years years ago but I was never the dungeon master. I could never do what the Dungeon Master does in a play session. It seemed so complicated.

I once made an attempt to play and couldn't get into it. I'm not going to judge it by that one experience, though.

I haven't played D&D itself, but I have taken part in tabletop, role-playing games before.

I also played the original Star Wars RPG once.

Awesome! :D The two games I played involved superheroes and, I think, some kind of fantasy world that wasn't D&D.

I think 2nd edition is the best one.
