Movies so bad they are good…

Any suggestions for movies that are like the title says, so bad they are good? Action type flicks are great when they are way over the top too. I find it hilarious. 😊

Road House was absurd, over the top, silly, downright dumb and completely implausible but I’ve seen it a dozen times and I LOVE it😄

"A polar bear fell on me" is branded onto my brain because of this movie, for better or worse.

So many silly lines in this movie:)

The Core (2003) The premise is ridiculous but the move is fun.

Oh yes, hell YES to incredibly dumb ‘disaster movies!’

The Day After Tomorrow, Armageddon, 2012, Independence Day…they are all so stupid and totally entertaining😃

I don't think this movie is "BAD" enough to be so bad it's good. It's crap science yes, but decent made sci-fi to watch for fun. Just empty summer entertainment movie, that I still love.

This HAS TO BE in the top five of all time. Come on.... Christopher Plummer, David Hasslehoff, and luscious bond girl Caroline Munro!!! John Barry music!

For those who are interested in Ugandan movies I would like to submit Who Killed Captain Alex? (2010).

Attack of the Killer Tomatoes! (1978).

Many years ago, a local TV movie reviewer discussed a recent list of the worst movies ever made (including Plan 9 From Outer Space.) He could not stop laughing as he described this one. It was being shown at a large shopping mall's multiplex theater that weekend. Subsequent to his review, the line to see it stretched from one end of the mall to the other end. It was intentionally made bad for laughs.

Several ignored sequels were made (and John Astin was in one.)

reply

I think George Clooney was in the one with John Astin too.

Which is a shame, because Return of the Killer Tomatoes! (1988), while not quite as good as the original, is also a lot of cheesy, campy fun.

Tuff Turf (1985) the film can’t work out what it wants to be. It’s awesome and bad and a time capsule for the 80’s.

Has future stars James Spader and Robert Downey Jr as well as Kim Richards.

I saw it for the first time recently and after the ending I couldn’t get the theme song out of my head for a week.

reply

I really liked this one but yeah, it’s pretty bad.

The trailer is absolutely ridiculous😄
