Horror Film Recommendations
With Halloween fast approaching I thought it would be perfect timing to watch some great horror films that I have never seen before.
Can you recommend any good horror films?

The Resurrected (1991)
Re-Animator (1985)
Halloween 2007 Rob Zombies remake...Its very divisive, but worth a look. It gives Michael's backstory, which as one poster put it is crass and trashy.
It Follows (2014) Very Unique.
Valentine (2001) Classic old school fun horror
Scare Me (2020) No budget, but good.
Fright Night (1985)
Hellraiser (1987)
28 Weeks Later... (2002)
Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight (1995)
Demons (1985)
The Autopsy of Jane Doe (2016)
Shock (1977)
Alice Sweet Slice (1976)
The Woman in Black (1989)

The Conjuring (2013)
The Conjuring 2 (2016)
I'm surprised no one has mentioned Poltergeist. The 1982 original, not the remake.
some personal favourites that i don't think i've seen mentioned so far:
pieces (1982)
the blackcoat's daughter - very moody...it's one of those morose films that often plays better on the second watch, imo.
southbound - one of my favourite horror anthologies. it's not widely loved, but i think it's terrific.
lake mungo - best use of the found footage/mockumentary format imo.
the final girls (2015) - best horror/comedy of recent years i'd say.
starry eyes (2014)
absentia (2011) - horror that really gets a lot of atmosphere out of its very minimal budget.
Lovely Molly
A Dark Song
