How do you feel about unisex public restrooms?

I mean, on one hand unisex restrooms can solve the problem of "who goes where" by eliminating the need to choose altogether. But on the other hand, people of one gender may not like sharing rest rooms with those of another gender.

Curious what your thoughts are about this.

This is just another sign that the Commies are destroying America.

Laugh if you want but I don't want grown ass men going into the bathroom with my little girl, IF I HAD ONE. I don't. :)

I really didn't like that a bar I went to in Winnipeg, Canada, had unisex. Women often need to escape to the toilet if they're feeling uncomfortable, now guys could just follow them.

Single occupancy.

Couldn't help but be reminded of the Columbo episode, By Dawn's Early Light with this topic. The scene that comes to mind is near the end when Columbo has an 'aha moment' with the confusing renovation blueprints for the military academy and the colonel in charge by his side tersely voices his epiphany with, "No urinals."; a memorable and amusing scene. :)

I'm not worried about being in any kind of danger but I do think I'd feel a little self conscious in a room full of male strangers....Rather not.

Recipe for disaster on many levels.

As many have already mentioned, single bathrooms shared by genders is fine.

But as someone who's had the unfortunate experience of being harassed by drunk men at night while coming home from work on the train, where I couldn't necessarily avoid them, the idea of sharing a unisex restroom bothers me in situations where this might occur. For example, if I go out with friends somewhere they serve alcohol, I don't want to share a restroom where any intoxicated man has access to somewhere I'm going to be removing any part of my clothing.
