How do you feel about unisex public restrooms?

I mean, on one hand unisex restrooms can solve the problem of "who goes where" by eliminating the need to choose altogether. But on the other hand, people of one gender may not like sharing rest rooms with those of another gender.

Curious what your thoughts are about this.

It's woke bullshit from the morons on the Left! Each sex should go to its own bathroom. I don't want predatory male perverts going into the women's bathrooms to prey on them! It's fucking dangerous, and should NOT be allowed!

😒

whats to stop them doing that now?
safe in the knowledge they arnt going to come up against any resistance from any men that might be in there.

The fear of getting caught, prosecuted and punished since it's illegal. Duh!

Assaulting women is illegal regardless of the sign on the bathroom door.

And society should do everything possible to PREVENT those assaults. Like keeping male pervs OUT of the
women's restroom! An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

BTW, have you been sneaking into the women's restroom? It sounds like you like the idea.

Some people mentioned the type of unisex bathrooms where it's basically one room, one stall. I have no issues with that.

But I do have issues with shared public bathrooms. Men use urinals. Women don't want to be exposed to guys dropping trou and exposing themselves. Furthermore, men never leave the toilet seat down, and women won't touch a seat if they can help it.

On top of that, women use bathrooms to straighten themselves up (adjust bras, panty lines, etc.). But more importantly, they get periods, and women don't want to have to deal with feminine hygiene issues with mean in the vicinity. Nor would men enjoy coming across bloody toilet seats or tampons that didn't quite make it on the first flush.

I'm happy to keep things separate.

Against them. Do people really have a hard time figuring out which bathroom to use? I guess liberals do but they have all they can handle figuring out pronouns.

It's OK if it's VOLUNTARY. But, it's wrong for any government (or any other entity) to MANDATE that women/girls share a room with a man with a penis.

"Trans" rights are fine. But, what about everyone else's rights? This is where the world has gone NUTS. 🙄

damn , and i grew up sharing the same bathroom as the rest of my family!
I've been abused!

Just make every bathroom unisex and have stalls that actually close tight to deter those peepers. Who cares what gender someone is.

reply

The wall of urinals always looks medieval. At least stick some privacy barriers around them.

Put all toilets in single, fully walled (no gaps), lockable stalls. Put sinks and mirrors in common areas.

Never understood why single unit bathrooms have to be gender specific, like at gas stations. Most people are slobs so just clean the things more often and take down the useless gender signs.

Face it, the only solution that will make everyone totally happy is lots of one-person restrooms, the kind with a lock on the door for privacy.
