Caddyshack/National Lampoons Vacation or Stripes/Ghostbusters

What do you think is the better pair of comedies? The reason I grouped them together is because all 4 came out right around the same time and both Caddyshack and National Lampoons Vacation were directed by Harold Ramis and both starred Chevy Chase and Brian Doyle-Murray while both Stripes and Ghostbusters were directed by Ivan Reitman and both starred Bill Murray and Harold Ramis.

National Lampoon’s Vacation is my favourite from those films and the one I’ve rewatched the most.

Ghostbusters would be my second choice.

I think National Lampoon’s Vacation is my favorite also.

Movie confessional; I have never seen National Lampoon's Vacation.

It’s pretty good, Chevy Chases character has a F bomb outburst at the end which is beyond hilarious. It’s not perfect, the last couple of minutes I don’t think are that funny but I would recommend it.

Caddyshack/Vacation. Vacation is head and shoulders above the other 3. It's the only one I would watch again today. I liked all 4 at the time.

4 excellent comedies but I must go with Rodney Dangerfield every time

NOBODY was funnier or more natural than Rodney Dangerfield, the man was a national treasure to the frustrated everyman
