Anyone you're a fan of artistically but hate personally?

Or can you not separate the two?

reply

Not really

I don't think this counts but some Adam Sandler chatter came up recently, I think he wastes his talent on generic dumb stuff when he can probably do more serious romantic or thriller roles

I can't imagine anyone hating him, the guy can act, produce and he seems like a fairly good dude

reply

Robert Dinero, I respect his work but nothing he has to say.

reply

Alec Baldwin

IM NOT A FAN OF ANYONE I KNOW PERSONALLY...I ALSO DONT BRUISE MY BRAIN ON SOCIAL MEDIA...SO I COULD GIVE A FUCK WHAT ANYONE THINKS OF ANYTHING...I JUST LIKE THE MOVIES.🙂

reply

Hate is probably too strong a word, so I'll use dislike: -
Films - Tom Cruise - I like everything he's been in, but as a person he seems a bit weird.
Music - David Coverdale - I really like everything he's done, but I understand that he's difficult to work with, hence the ever changing roster of musicians he collaborates with.
Sport - Lewis Hamilton - No denying he's a great racing driver, but he's a complete arsehole.

reply

Bruce Springsteen, I like his music but his politics are wrong.

reply

He has some good tunes that's for sure.

reply

I hear this said a lot about Morrissey.

reply

I like some of the stuff Janeane Garofalo has done. Then I saw her live and got a chance to see her up close. I was totally repulsed by what she is actually like.

reply

I wouldn't say I hate anyone; that's pretty intense.

There have been actresses whom I've "admired" until I found out they're involved in politics or P.E.T.A. or some other goofy cause.

Politics is a big turn-off for me.

reply

This is bullshit.

How can you dislike someone personally when you don't know them personally?

Don't believe all this guff you read about people in the public eye...its designed to keep people interested in them. Both good and bad publicity.
