Finally watched Parasite, extremely unremarkable
Am I missing something? What is so profound about this movie? The class inequality message it beats you over the head with?

sharelol, I still have not seen it, however, I have watched all the other ones from the same director and they were all excellent.
Wait,...shouldn't this be in the parasite post?
He posts on this board because its higher traffic means better chances that someone will respond to validate his inane mewling.

See the top of the home page: "MovieChat – Discuss Movies, TV Shows & Celebrities"
Again, the name of the web-page is "moviechat."
Please keep your subject matter about generals, Thaistickers. Correcting people is not about movies.
shareAnubis,
I didn't realize until after I replied to "Thaistickers" that it is a dormant sock account that someone created around two months ago.
There is a possibility that it may be one of MovieBuff224's sock accounts. MB224 has over 1000 posts and 99% of them are in the "General Discussion" category.
Ah ha! Sometimes bait is delicious though.
I don't mind MB224's posts so much. They get people typing. Sometimes, every now and then, I half agree with him. I have enough troll in me to enjoy reading someone expressing outrage if it has enough flair. Usual decent popcorn fun when MB224 make some crazy assertion then watching him run through the gauntlet of readers beating him with baseball bats.
I like to try taking his trolling seriously on occasion and attempt to answer his question as though I didn't know better. And apparently get trolled myself by one of his drive-by socks.
Read the synopsis. Feel like I saw it. Turned on my Privilege-Checker-O-Matic to check my privilege for me while I went shopping for a few hours.
Aren't you all forgetting that BLACK LIVES MATTER?
I saw it for the first time just a few days ago myself. It’s certainly a well made film with engaging performances but I’ll admit it was hardly the masterpiece I was expecting from all the critical praise and awards.
I found myself wondering if I was supposed to sympathise with this family of charlatans. To me they were pretty despicable actually and by the end I had no investment in their fate either way.
the first half was funny and then it was over the top.
shareAgreed.
shareIf you want to watch something good from S.Korea, watch Kingdom. It's set in the 16th Century and features zombies! The show has great production values and cinematography too.
