Do you answer the door even when you're not expecting company?

I don't. I'll pass on the home invasions thank you. that's the only time someone knocks on your door uninvited.

I've never had a problem answering the door. If it's someone I don't want to talk to I say no thank you and close the door. Unless it's a company called Power Remodeling in which case I lam into them. One of them suckered me once and wouldn't leave my house for almost three hours. I've since found out they don't usually get door to door permits. If they say they don't have one, then I call the cops.

NOBODY KNOCKS ON MY DOOR...MY ACRE IS SURROUNDED BY A NICE STURDY CHAIN LINK FENCE...IF SOMEONE DOES KNOCK ON MY DOOR...THAT MEANS THEY JUMPED MY FENCE AND DESERVE A BEATING...WHICH I WILL QUICKLY HAND OUT.

Just the other day a guy came to my house and wanted to talk about Trump and I said no thank you and have a nice day.

I don't either. My doorbell doesn't even work. I don't need it because I know when someone is coming over, be it family members, a service call (satellite dish, gas company, etc) or I'm having an item delivered.

Anyone else who knocks on the door is trespassing on private property.
