What’s your favorite thing to eat at Denny’s?
I either get the grand slamwich, eggs in a basket, or the buffalo chicken wraps.

I haven't been to a Denny's in about 35 years (damn, can't believe I typed that😳) but I distinctly remember their chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and peas

I can't remember the last time I ate at Denny's. Nothing against them - just haven't been around one in years. I don't think there's a Denny's anywhere close by. Perkins is more prevalent around here - not that I've eaten at Perkins lately, either. I just don't go out to eat much. I can't get past what it costs to eat out. I keep thinking how many meals I could make at home for what I might spend eating out. It comes from a lifetime of having a tight budget, I suppose.
shareThey closed the Denny's near me a few years ago. You can get a free Grand Slam Breakfast, any time of day, on your BIRTHDAY. Open 24 hours per day. Just show identification with your birthday on it. It was eggs-elent! (Leave them a tip!)
shareI used to go there on my birthday for the free breakfast and leave a large tip for the server. But starting last year they started to require you to sign up on their website instead of just showing your ID so I stopped.
