Placebo is in my top 3 also!!!
I saw them live!
Awesome, nice to meet another fan!!
Where and when did you see them live? I was front-row at their first Sydney show on the Without You I'm Nothing Tour in 99. It was incredible, but looking back now I wish I had seen them later as most of their material that I really love came after that album. I was moving countries when they last toured for the 25th anniversary and I was gutted to miss that. Hopefully they'll come down this way again.
I saw them in Montreal in 2014.
Only complaint would be that they barely talked with us (the crowd) to a point I almost felt like Inwas watching holograms but, the music, oh the music!! It Was the experience of a lifetime.
I know it’s practically impossible but list 3 of your fav titles.

Hi! Can I join the fanboying? :D
I've seen them live 2x (both at Sziget Festival).
My 3 fav titles are: Burger Queen, Special Needs, Bosco. I'm sorry, but 'Meds' is my least favourite album. Not saying it's bad, though. :)
Nice! Any fan of Placebo gets my instant respect.
Bosco would be a masterpiece if it wasn’t for the “how I suck you” part.
Burger queen: ha! That’s a curious pick!
It's one of the first songs I've heard from them. Never mind the lyrics, but I like the melancholic atmosphere of the music.
shareI discovered them through the movie Chumscrubber’s credits where Pure morning played.
My life changed that day!
Have you ever seen the live video of my sweet prince where Brian throws his mic at the end in a sadness fit?
Watched it a hundred times and still get to me.
Also the live performance of Bowie’s Five Years is one of my fav vids on YouTube.
I'll check them out!
shareThe Beatles
The White Stripes (and Jack White solo as well as his other bands)
Led Zeppelin, I guess. Or maybe Queen. Geez, I'm not sure.
Fine list!
Zeppelin vs Queen... I can see your conundrum, I suppose I prefer Zeppelin's music but Mercury had an angelic voice, Freddy was an ALL TIMER!
Robert Plant's powerful voice never lets me down, Plant makes me happy
The Raconteurs have an amazing album!
shareElectric Light Orchestra
AC/DC
Led Zeppelin

Did I tell you I saw this in a theater recently?

You did! I still haven't seen it, but they were still fantastic on that tour.
shareI would add as honourable mentions
Eurasure and Disturbed
Probably a bunch more too. It really all depends on my mood.
I’m an Erasure fan also. I absolutely love this version of Blue Savannah:

I like Bastille, but felt a bit disappointed listening to Wild World after Bad Blood..
Volbeat also makes great music, I enjoyed their gig last summer at EFOTT festival.
I'm always disappointed with albums. I do like a lot of Bastille's acoustic versions, and they are great to listen to live. Dan Smith sounds almost identical to how he does on a studio album. I think that's why I like Volbeat as well. Michael Poulsen sounds pretty good live.
