What do you believe to be the worst film of all time? and Why?
???
shareKnock Off
shareThis is always an unanswerable question for me because generally movies I've loathed are still well enough made that you couldn't call them the worst of all time, and those that are incompetently but sincerely made and suffer from low budgets usually become enjoyable and charming because of their badness, or can't be fairly assessed by the same standard. Obviously movies made deliberately badly are out.
I think it would have to be something that meets all of these criteria:
• has a generous budget behind it
• yet is abysmally crafted in all respects
• must be deeply, deeply boring
• insulting to the intelligence of the viewer
• either has an extremely dumb premise or extremely high ratio of promising premise to realization letdown
• bonus points if it's inherently trendy and or a cash grab
• bonus points for being unfunny if that's the film's main goal
• and at the same time should be ideologically offensive in some way, which might be the part that makes this most subjective and hard to choose...
I could name an obscur turd but I’ll vote for an Unbelievably bad movie with two decent actors and $4 million in budgeT: Sacrifice 2011
I think the movie I despise the most is rock of ages
Spring Breakers - just no.
shareI'ma have to go with this one. With a budget of only $1,500, it has to be bad.

Though I have yet to see Manos or Birdemic. But they are consistently named as worst films of all time.
How does one gauge something like this? Hearsay?
I don't know about anyone else but I won't sit through a film I find to be the worst...or even bad..
