Faye Dunaway fired from Broadway-bound ‘Tea at Five’ for slapping crew member

She sounds wonderful to work with

reply

I don't disagree with firing her, but why cancel the show just moments before it was about to begin? It had been going on for quite a while.

reply

don't they usually have an understudy?

reply

Maybe they didn't have enough time? Those crew members seem like snowflakes, though. What damage can an old lady like that do? Just be a pro and let the show go on. Do whatever you want afterwards.

reply

She is very tough for 78

reply

But "fearful for their safety"? Come on!

reply

Maybe they were worried she’d call Clyde.

reply

Lol. Clyde has also turned old and senile. They ain't gonna rob no banks no more.

reply

She is the prima donna of prima donnas. Never liked her.

reply

Agreed. But she's a damn great actress.

reply

She ruins movies for me, can't stand her as an actress.

reply

Not even "Rosemary's Baby?" I do enjoy "Bonnie and Clyde"

Mystery Science Theater 3000 the Return makes fun of one of her movies "Avalanche" it's prob my fav episode from that season.

reply

You mean chinatown?

She is the worst thing in chinatown and bonnie and clyde imo. Her acting is too self conscious.

reply

Never seen Chinatown. But nothing could have saved "Avalanche".

reply

Are you mistaking mia farrow for faye dunaway then? Because Dunaway wasn't in rosemary's baby.

reply

Yeah, I got them mixed up. My bad

reply

"Dunaway began “verbally abusing” the crew. They were “fearful for their safety,” said one source."

Millennials.

reply

Good luck to them when they're out in the real world without their clique.

reply

Just because someone is a millennial doesn't mean they have to put up with bullshit.

reply

My wife had a training session for middle managers on how to deal with millennials, because as a group they generate so many bogus HR complaints they can, and have, shut down entire departments. If they don't like your tone, stand too close, aren't polite enough, or they just don't want to do what they are told, they run to HR who are obligated to investigate. Their strategy has become to communicate via email, my wife was told to avoid interacting directly with people under 30.

reply

I'm sure the millennial that make the news are that way but I've never had a bad experience with a millennial.

reply

Even Bette Davis didn't like her

reply

Thanks for the link. She's nuts.

reply

it would seem so

reply

To be fair, Bette Davis was also a pain to work with. They're both divas and divas don't usually work well together.

reply

Must have been fun working with both of them

reply

I don't know, if I was Faye Dunaway, I'd probably be a dick too. When you're Faye Dunaway, you have that right.

reply

Come on, nobody has a "right" to be a dick.

reply

Eh, there's just some actresses I expect it from, just because they are who they are, and they know. Faye Dunaway is one of those people. Not saying it's right, but it's just kinda expected when you work with her.

reply

crazy bitch

reply

She should have dunaway with the slapping, amirite?
