What are you all listening to?
I've got Tom Petty going here
The guy was a boss!
You?
They sound pretty rough live
shareStill working out the kinks for a post-punk era in that clip. The new wave sound become more refined as Charlotte Caffey and Jane Wiedlin improved their skills and with the addition of Kathy Valentine on bass after the departure of the punk-influenced Margot Olavarria. Not going to lie, I came to that conclusion after finally watching the Showtime documentary last night. A fun watch, check it out when you get a chance shogie, it was pretty cool to look back at that slice of the 80s. The band’s trip to England to open for Ska bands was quite the story and one of the best parts of a very good documentary. These women rocked and it didn’t hurt that each was attractive in their own way. If I was of age, I definitely would’ve went to some shows. Good times!
shareGood info, thanks
I'll check the doco👍

Nice...sweet easy tune, nothing complicated
Their earlier songs were just as pleasing as their later more complicated stuff
It's weird how some great bands can't just hold it together and carry on with the music
