I've got Tom Petty going here
The guy was a boss!

Damn, jim was a hottie. I read a biography on Janis Joplin, and they met each other at a party. I guess Jim made her cry?? Woman up Janis.

Mister, you are such a weirdo. I love it. Now I’m wondering if it’s too late for coffee or too early to drink.
shareThis is a very cool album by John Zorn interpreting the music of Ennio Morricone.
I don't normally gravitate toward avant garde, but some stuff just sounds good. I'm so glad this album was pointed out to me many years ago.
I loved it. Perfect morning music. I haven’t seen Duck you sucker, but I read about it after listening to your song. It’s first on my list to watch. I love James coburn. Teach me more.
I compromised and decided to pair my coffee with a fresh green nug.

Sure it's fun to enjoy the sexual aspect of the singing, but it's just a tremendous performance all around.
Pretty cool. I’ll have to look into this Zorn cat.
shareI've been meaning to see that movie, Coburn was cool
It might be streaming
I won't go out on a limb over the movie. Seeing Coburn and Steiger paired as a couple of baddies definitely seems like a fun idea, worth a watch. But I didn't pick the track because of the movie.
Hope you notice the addition above posted to froggyandtoadie2.
I looked him up, Big Apple boy, mastered a dozen instruments (!)
and still active at 66
Impressive resume

Such a classic performance. I was stunned when I first saw it.
You know the story behind it, right? "They" asked Richie to keep playing because the next act wasn't ready, and he ran out of material. The way I understand it, he mostly made this up on the spot, other than incorporating Motherless Child into his performance. Talk about serendipity.
Definitely. My mom was a hippie and told me all about it. He’s one of my favorites. You know I had tickets to go see him a year or so before he died and we didn’t end up going. A huge regret.

You're back, The Music Man himself!
Happy news of the day brother
May your business be a-booming and the road be smooth before you👍
Not back yet, dispatches from the road...had to put a quarter in the shogie jukebox, I’ll just do this until I’m back at the bunker.
