would you date a woman who doesnt wear makeup
i am a woman, and i honestly think the whole industry is a scam, I dont usually wear makeup. Most women wear makeup to be more attractive, but your partner will see you without makeup eventually.

shareThe makeup is to attract him and make a good first impression. If a relationship develops then both will relax, and like you wrote, he'll see her without makeup
shareOf course I would. The more natural the better as far as I’m concerned.
shareI'm also a woman who doesn't wear much makeup at all. I wouldn't want a man who wants me to wear more.
I do like to put on a bit of lipstick that is actually just a more cheerful color version of my own lip color, lol, and a bit of smudged eye pencil, but the results are "enhanced natural" that don't look like I have makeup on. I prefer it. It's also less of a huge difference/ huge shock if anyone sees you without it. When I used to wear more makeup many years ago when I was younger, even I was shocked at how wan and sick I looked without it. Now that I wear hardly any, I look better! I like keeping it minimal now.
Personally I would actively not want to date any man who prefers to date those women who are glamorously made up to-the-nines all the time. They would tend to be a person who wants a different type of woman altogether anyway, and I'm not that type.
This may not be a popular opinion but I also prefer women in flats rather than high heel shoes.
shareI applaud your compassion, sir!
High heels are excruciating - I'm all about comfort these days. Flat or low heels.
Well it’s more about style than compassion but of course I’m glad it’s comfortable and practical as well.
shareI remember in the mid 80s there was a big deal about Cybill Shepherd wearing Reeboks to an award show. As a guy I was completely oblivious that women felt pressured to wear high heels.
shareI remember that incident!
I hear there's even a lot of pressure in certain corporate workplaces settings, for women to wear heels rather than flat shoes, based only on the notion that they look more stylish (and therefore smart/professional) than a completely flat, unheeled shoe, and I think there have been a few lawsuits where the female workers had to fight for the right to wear flat shoes for comfort.
Personally I can see how a shoe with a higher heel has a more aesthetically appealing look, and our society has kind of always had that consensus, but oh god they are so agonizing to have on for more than a short while.
I HATE HEELS.LOVE A WOMAN IN SNEAKERS...SOOOHOT.
shareI would. I don't care if women wear makeup or not.
sharei'm sort of a split vote on this, in that:
- i am astonished & eternally grateful to any woman who could spend 5 minutes with me without vomiting in disgust, make-up or not.
- i am, even though i am undeniably middle-aged, still fairly obsessed with gothy/punkish looking women with their racoon eyes & pancake makeup & tattoos & snot rings.
Siouxsie Sioux Is a goddess. 👍
