recommend a song you think most people won't know.

i was randomly browsing around this evening while watching a trashy movie as one does, and i stumbled across a song called 'you don't care' by a soul/folk performer i'd never heard of named terry callier. completely unfamiliar to me, but i thought it was very pleasant, has a nice lilting melody in a 70s easy listening sort of way that i really enjoyed.

if you have any unappreciated gems you'd like me & the world to hear, pass them along. i'm up for hearing something new & different.

If people aren't familiar with The Replacements, they are missing something. They had a four album run from 83-87 that was great. I suppose Let It Be (yes, Let It Be) is the most accessible, with mostly short songs. The next record, Tim, is a little more anthemic, if that's what you prefer.
Kinda punk mostly, with some fun thrown in and some angst.

the replacements were the soundtrack to my late teens/early 20s.
let it be/tim/pleased to meet me are all terrified.
unsatisfied might get my vote for best song of the 80s on some days.

"(they) are all TERRIFIED," haha. Rhymes with Unsatisfied. If you will dare, I will dare. Kiss me on the Bus(s)! Left Of the Dial ! How do you say I'm Lonely to an Answering Machine? I hate your AM ("if you need help ....") ! Great stuff. Westerberg for a time was a real genius.
Do you like the band X from LA? They were another favorite from the same period.

Steaming Satellites: How Dare You

I'm actually not familiar with the band, but heard the song in a movie a couple years ago.
