(Not bad) Movies that you would never watch again

This is in response to the movies you would re-watch that BillHicksFan had a couple of days ago. I like to re-watch movies so I had a hard time answering that and thought that the list would be smaller of movies that I never would watch again. I know that crappy movies are easy to never want to watch again. So these are some higher rated movies that I have no desire to see again.

The Road
American Beauty - and this has nothing to do with Spacey, I just didn't care for it enough to ever want to see it again
American History X
The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford - only watched it because I was an extra

House of Sand and Fog (2003)

It was a great film with compelling performances, but I found it so depressing that I would not re-watch.

I'm not sure I've seen that one.

One movie that I'm not sure I would watch again because of the gut punch it gave me was Grave of the Fireflies.

A Streetcar Named Desire...Brando is just too cruel to Vivien Leigh.

Requiem for a Dream

Schindler's List
American Beauty
Requiem for a Dream

2001 A Space Odyssey

The Revanant -It was awesome to watch the first time around because the cast was great, the performances were outstanding, and the way the film was shot is on another level of directing. I wouldn't watch it again however because it seemed drawn out.

Joy -I had a fine time watching this movie, but I wouldn't watch it again because it wasn't what I had expected at all.

I agree with both of these. I'm glad I watched both, but yeah, no desire to revisit.

Psycho!

Grave of the fireflies. It eats on your soul.

That one wounded me for weeks afterwards

Same here. Such a masterpiece though. Isao Takahata was genius.
