Has anyone ever taken their own snacks into the cinema?
Just wondered.
shareI seem to remember sneaking a sub into the theatre once. I wouldn't have anything against doing it again, except I never go to theatres.
shareYes, popcorn. I've never bought any snacks at the cinema.
shareof course. soda & candy. my pockets arent big enough for popcorn, though.

I was visiting this girl up in Baltimore back in the 80's, and I had just bought us some Chinese take-out (which, fortunately, did not include any soup). As we were walking out of the restaurant, she spotted a movie theater across the street and said that we should go watch 'Fatal Attraction.' So I gave her some money to buy the tickets while I went back inside the restaurant to get some plastic forks. I then took off my jacket and draped it over my arm in order to hide the food, walked across the street and we calmly went into the theater and gave our tickets to the ticket taker.
The food tasted pretty good as we ate during the film. However, it must be noted that some meat from the spare ribs got stuck between my teeth. Fortunately, Laura had some dental floss in her purse, so I used that to get it out. The funny thing about that was when I pulled on the floss to get it out from between my teeth, a little bit of the spare rib meat went flying out right into the hair of the woman sitting in front of us. She never had a clue that that had happened, and I sure as hell was not going to tell her. I often wondered if she ever saw it the next time she shampooed her hair.
CKid, you are a very naughty boy.
shareI used to do that, when I was still in college. Nowadays, I just don't eat anything, only bring a bottle of water.
shareI do all the time, bottle of water and a small snack like apple or something. The prices are crazy in the cinema for food.
