Do you watch this non stop disaster TV coverage?

All the American news channels are covering this Hurricane around the clock. Unless you live there or have family there, do you watch this? I always thought it unseemly as the networks rush there and the stupid live shots of the reporters pushing against the wind.

I’ve had the Weather Channel on 24/7 while watching programs on my iPad. Why? Because I’ve lived through several of these monsters. The virtual storm surge video shown and explained still did not get through to so many thick headed people. That video should have scared the hell of them and forced them to evacuate. BUT STUPID IS AS STUPID DOES! They didn’t pay heed to the mandatory evacuation. The result? Hundreds are being rescued...most on their roofs...putting first responders at risk!

I watch it. A cousin of mine has a home in Florida and another home in North Carolina. I'd still watch even if I didn't know anyone. I like to be informed, and if there is something I can do to help, such as contribute food, money, I certainly will. Many folks are going to lose their homes and their way of life in some cases. Contrary to what Trump promised, the government isn't going to solve all of their problems.
