Life is bearable!

Come on, guys and girls! What are the good things in life? What makes us happy? What helps us get through the day? You too, TheMan18!

I'll start:

Fluffy bunnies!❀🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰❀

reply

Weed food sex music and any free streaming site

reply

A small farm,quiet place,fresh air.What is better then this?

reply

What, no Alice or Lara? Not even cardboard ones?

reply

Fine,if you insist.Lara too

reply

Phew! For a moment I thought you had been bodysnatched!

reply

It’s even more bearable if you get bare and busy with a honeybunny whom you crave.

i’ve been meaning to ask you, Godess Mine, do you know The Velvet Underground album, The Velvet Undeground & Nico? The Velvet Undeground was created and fronted by Lou Reed and may be the best rock band to come out of New York. Artist Andy Warhol took the band under his wing; in fact, he painted the cover for this album, and he produced it. He hooked the band up with a blonde Scandinavian (I think) woman named Nico, who had a truly ethereal voice, and created a classic album. There are cuts on it that remind me of you, notably Femme Fatale (β€œShe’s just a little tease”), Venus In Furs (β€œShiny, shiny, shiny boots of leather . . . Taste the whip, in love not given lightly/Taste the whip, now bleed for me”) and The Black Angel’s Death Song😈 Do you know it? If not, you can probably find it online. Tell me what you think, and what you feel.

Did you know that I am expert with bullwhip?

And we are now about as far away from fluffy bunnies as it’s possible to be.

reply

I'm familiar with The Velvet Underground, Lou Reed and Nico (who was German, by the way).

That's pretty hot, Arcane, no reason for me to shatter that illusion. Yes, Femme Fatale is totally about me!

"Here she comes, you better watch your step
She's going to break your heart in two, it's true!"

reply

I don’t know about you shattering, but I think you’d be good at making me shudder, in a really good way. And me, you.

Great minds do think alike.

reply

I was thinking the same thing, Arcane!

reply

Top and tailing garlic cloves in one fell swoop.

reply

Life's What YOU Make It, like in that Talk Talk song.

reply

That feeling after a shower. Clean and fragrant, fantastic feeling

Ok Strat, I've had a change of heart. I'm gonna share with you what I intended for last night. It's one of (which reminds me of you) many great scenes from one of my favorite comedies, My Cousin Vinny:

Mona Lisa Vito : Whoa. You're gonna shoot a deer ?
Vinny Gambini : I don't know. I suppose. I mean, I'm a man's man, I could go deer hunting.
MLV: A sweet, innocent, harmless, leaf-eating, doe-eyed little deer.
VG : Hey Lisa, I'm not gonna go out there just to wimp out, you know? I mean, the guy will lose respect for me, would you rather have that ? What about these pants I got on, you think they're O.K.?
MLV : Imagine you're a deer. You're prancing along, you get thirsty, you spot a little brook, you put your little deer lips down to the cool, clear water...BAM ! A fuckin' bullet rips off part of your head ! Your brains are laying on the ground in little bloody pieces. Now I ask ya. Would you give a fuck what kind of pants the son of a bitch who shot you was wearing ?

reply

Come on, db! Shooting poor, sweet, innocent, harmless, leaf-eating, doe-eyed little deer is no joke!😒

Somehow I think (or rather hope!) that Croft looks like Elmer Fudd when he goes wabbit hunting.🐰

It's been too long since I saw that movie! I don't know why, but I always enjoy Joe Pesci.

reply

Oh, come on now Strat, you would have to see that scene in order to grasp how it reminds me of you. Marisa Tomei was so damned cute & sexy, she was the absolute epitome of doe-eyed and didn't she fully empathize with the deer ?

reply

I'm also an Oscar winner, of course! Yes, that must be it!

Now I definitely have to watch that movie again! Being compared to Marisa Tomei sounds much nicer than being compared to Madonna! Thanks, sugar!😘

I'm sure this guy loves slow moving trains as well!

Corny, but cute. Not sure about the onions, though, I think they're just okay.

reply

[deleted]

I would definitely like some rain right now!

reply

[deleted]

Typically, yeah. But there's a heatwave going on right now. This is one of the driest summers on record.

reply

Having experienced my share of hot, dangerously dry summers, I sympathize with Europeans, those in the UK, here in the US, and others around the world who are dealing with it right now. I sincerely hope it gets better soon.

In no way am I bragging, but we are finally enjoying a cool spell this week. Today we won't even hit 70Β°F.

This was in our news yesterday:

reply

That's such a cute picture!πŸ˜†

70Β°F sounds pretty good to me! Over here it's 97Β°F at half past 7 in the evening.πŸ˜“

reply

Very cute, to be sure. Bemidji is the same place where that drunk girl got her head stuck in a truck's tailpipe. πŸ™„

Sunset can't come soon enough for you, I bet. Yes, I'm enjoying our cooler weather today. Such a relief.

reply

It's raining really hard right now, Glen, I can't believe it! Hallelujah!

reply

[deleted]

Oh, if only that really happened! I'd be dancing on the tables in my red high heels!πŸ‘

reply

I can sure relate to this reaction ! Love it when the sky darkens, the temp drops and the wind picks up. Then there's the heavenly relief that much welcomed storm brings.

reply

That's exactly what happened, db, along with some heavy thunder and lightening. And then it stopped raining and it became really humid and muggy. And now I'm lying in my bed with all the windows open and the fan on.☹

reply

Yeah, the humidity this summer has really been oppressive, overwhelming at times. I also rely on open windows , fans and cold showers when things become too unbearable.

reply

You need A/C to survive global warming.

reply

Unfortunately still a luxury for many people, even in first world nations such as the United States. Though if a person can learn to tolerate it, drink plenty of liquids and stay healthy, they're better off getting acclimated to rough weather if conditions are not an immediate danger to their well-being without being stupid.

reply

Though if a person can learn to tolerate it, drink plenty of liquids and stay healthy, they're better off getting acclimated....

Explains me perfectly; thanks !

reply

Once upon a time, A/C was a religious taboo for some people, believing it to be a cheat code against nature.

reply

Well, I believe the key word is "acclimated" and those that are too dependent on A/C are actually at a disadvantage.

reply

Not helping their immune system, that's for sure.

reply

Sounds like a fine night for a campfire and a few drinks🍷

reply

Oh yes. I'll be out there tonight for sure! πŸ“»πŸŽ΅πŸΊπŸ’ΊπŸ”₯
