That was a big shit movie at that time. We had to read the book in school. "Flowers for Algernon." Then the movie came out. Bloom was the woman, sweet Jesus-she was gorgeous then.
Very disturbing film for young people-at least for this youngster. I've seen it just once in the ensuing 50 years (a few years ago with the wife), and it still hit be me like a ton-a-brick.
