Depends what you define as "feminists".
If a feminist is for you a woman who wants equal rights, you should be quiet and go back into your cave.
If a feminist is a pennyless young girl who insists she's a 10 and deserves one of the 0.1% of the richest men to give her all his money before she'll dump him, you should point out that even Jeff Bezos didn't have enough money to prevent his divorce.
The only thing to say is, "keep it up man, you're doing a good job."

That said, I'm a true feminist and I believe in EQUAL rights. I believe women have the right to work as hard as men are expected to work. I believe women have the right to not expect a man to pay for dinner and they have the right to open their own doors. I believe that women have the right to change the water jug on the cooler at work as well as move their own desk if it needs to be moved. I believe that if a women does a better job than I do, they should get the raise/promotion over me, but if I do the better job, I don't believe in the woman getting the raise/promotion because "equality"! Equality is EQUAL and I firmly believe in it. I support whoever EARNS it.
I do NOT believe in tacitly catering to women just because they're women or because they use their vaginas as leverage. I do NOT believe women have the right to degrade men, just because they're men. I'm not interested in any of that even a little bit.

Gender equality has been legally mandated for decades though.
shareUnfortunately sexism and things like glass ceilings are still evident. As a male I know that I won't always pick up on unconscious bias myself, but at least I acknowledge the problem. On this board some of the unreconstructed commentators don't even start with that and just appear to be against social, economic, and political equality of the sexes.

shareIt's probably sound advice in that, more often than not, young women identifying themselves as feminists in their teens and early 20's are using the term to mask a superiority or inferiority issue with a superficial understanding of what feminism means. In common usage and effect, it's just a rationale to be a cunt towards men. There might be a few with a deeper grasp of feminist concepts at that age but those are the exception. Even then, from my experience, those with such an early interest in the topic were driven by a grudge.
