Nope, hypotheses of the evolutionary benefits of homosexuality have never been proven. They are half baked theories which have a political agenda. And even if there are some evolutionary benefits, they certainly can't compare to procreation so homosexuality is at least less natural than heterosexuality.

The much higher rates of disease that spread among gay male sex is not a coincidence. It is a direct result of using body parts for sex which aren't evolutionary designed for. My original point stands.

i agree to the following theory:
the gay gene survived because back then the gay males was left behind, when the other were hunting. and then they mated the females (or vice versa)
later they were forced into marriage with kids to hide from the public.

making them visible will get rid of them overtime, because they finally stop breeding.

and yes they spread diseases, that coupled with the "sneaky sex" is a very good explanation, why many of us are hardwired to despise homosexuality
