I first saw it as a child, in syndication. Just started watching again recently.
In NJ, the age of consent is 16. Unless the older person is in a position of authority.
True. Now if they do that, the guy goes to jail for "rape" even if the girl lied about her age.
I always thought the Ropers were at in their 60s, retired.
They seemed older too, like late 20s or early 30s.
