Well, the writers backtracked and admitted that they will make season 2 more fast-paced and interesting, so there is that. Maybe it can have a comeback. But it is also a problem that it is so slow to come out. There will be 2 years between 2 seasons. That is not okay.

On average people stop exploring new music when they hit 30. So each generation has their own idols. When your generaiton dies so does the interest in these tribute acts. There will be other tribute acts performing the hits of different singers.
A lot of her music is not pop though. Her first album is country. Folklore and Evermore are alternative. The Red album has many rock-leaning tracks. If someone actually sits down to explore her music, they will find songs that they love.
She had an immensely successful year for her own music and mostly stayed out of big dramas. She helped cinemas in a big way with her concert movie. That is a net positive.
No, it is really not. I keep watching simply because I am used to it and there isn't much else to do but honestly, the show peaked with the first 2 seasons and never got back to that quality. Season 7 was the weakest season yet, it has not made me smile once. Let's not even talk about laughing. A lot of episodes are more aggravating than entertaining.

It is made this way to appeal to female viewers, as they make up the majority of the viewerbase for these kinds of shows. Women love to see men being portrayed as intellectually inferior to them.
