it felt a little odd to me as well, especially the church. i had no idea asian only churches even existed.
there is a 1% chance that the op is 100% correct.
must be an absolute certainty.
sexual misconduct. its absolutely insane that someone could be found liable for this with no evidence whatsoever. this was a jury decision, and it will be overturned. it should not have reached this point.
fucking NY jury bitches.
the other thing is, and ive never heard of this before this case, all they have to do is decide that there is over a 50% chance. what kind of bullshit is that?
this movie was amazing when it was released! id give it a 7.
his dad is important to him. also, blaming 2008 for a film that came out before seems kinda dumb.
this movie is damn near perfect.
i cant see him being furious at someone and getting drunk before a confrontation. its just not a response people have if you know you're about to get into some shit.
as for her driving him there, that is slightly more believable if they thought she was in danger. the AA chick clearly thought he was capable of harming someone, so a 911 call was probably the better choice. i could see it happening though, with all the uncertainties and things happening fast.
it did seem like he got drunk way too fast, though.
an accurate review. i think the directing of the film was bad, but after about a half hour in i was engaged and couldnt stop watching. without morgan freeman this would have been trash.
the car crash thing really made me mad. there was the slow movement, the city worker at fault, her looking at her phone, it was all out of wack. i almost stopped the movie right there but it got a little better after.
5/10 i think
yeah a covid denier who's admin created the vaccine. that makes sense. wtf is a covid denier anyways? its a virus that exists.
agreed. as every episode rolls on the despair just keeps getting greater, hope disappears.
ok now that deserves a standing ovation!
however small the possibility, his only hope was for the dude to actually call the cops.
he could have pulled that pipe off the wall easily. i believe it was also mentioned at one point the house was 30 years old, but even a new pipe would have a weak spot somewhere, probably where it connects to the water heater. i think that might have been a gas line, it didnt look like copper.
good points
yeah, legit criticism will be met, by a certain group, as being racist, no matter what the subject of the critic is.
not just unlikely. impossible. even if he followed by sound, they had just moved in their cube. great movie but bad little horror trope at the end that made no sense. 8/10
LMAO
this bothered me. if you call 911 they will show up eventually.
there was no probable cause. you have to look at it from their point of view. she takes them to a random house, even admits to breaking a window... if cops are allowed to break down doors for this it would be mayhem.
BUT.... she could have shown them she can unlock the key box. that would mean something.
the open door at the beginning must have been the lady... the other ones just close on their own. im assuming they were built that way, and also a basement should not have a lock on the outside, let alone never be able to be unlocked. its designed to keep people in.
