Those Grooves were rope guides which they used to pull the massive sarcohagus into place through the passage ways. They used to think they were for traps until some smart engineers figured out what they were for.
That was the actual procedure when Dr. Strangelove and Fail Safe came out. Hopefully after being ridiculed for such a dumb ass procedure that's been removed from the doctorine.
The movie is way better than it deserves to be. I got the Dr. Strangelove vibes which is basically the same movie as Fail Safe. The Bomber can't take any further orders once it's been ordered to strike. I was kind of hoping that dumbass rule would have been removed from the Nuclear Procedure after Dr. Strangelove made fun of it. Hopefully this film just did it for the tension. Also this picture has a happier ending than both those other films. I also give it 7/10.
George C. Scott IS Patton. The real Patton while a badass spoke with a squeaky voice. George C. Scott gave him a massive does of Testosterone.
They couldn't prove it so No rape conviction they didn't even have DNA testing. If by chance they magically had Movie Projector capture the entire rape I still think the first guy walks. He used to date her years ago and she was kissing him and running her fingerrs through his hair. The 2nd guy though is obviously a Rape.
I'm watching it RN in my boxers. i'm 47 years old and first was this when I as 9 years old in 1986. i'm now planning on getting my grandkids to watch it. I think a 9 year old today would love it as 9 year old me in '86.
Have you seen the Soviet film Amphibian Man? It's basically James Bond combined with Aquaman. It's incredible. Funny thing is that it predated the first James Bond picture by a couple years. James Bond copied the Villians Lair from this movie. All these Soviet Movies are now free to watch in HD on Youtube now. I highly recommend it if you haven't seen it.

I just watched it and I was shocked how good it was! This movie was genuinely scary like a blend of Alien and Aliens. Now I regret not going to see it in the theater!
Do you think that was a call back to his scene in Pulp Fiction? He literally had "The Gimp" in Pulp Fiction.
