Pretty sure it's the kid who plays Goldberg
I feel that to call Emmy Rossum the "Lea Michele of Shameless" is a bit extreme.
When Emma Kenney spoke about her experience with Emmy on the set of Shameless, I looked into this as much as I could. I didn't find much. The only time before Emma Kenney, where I heard there was an issue with Emmy, was Josh Lucas called her a "prima donna" during an interview after filming Poseidon. And nothing else came out about it at that time. I had heard something that Josh Lucas had say things about several of his former female co-stars from other films, so I brushed it off as 1) maybe he's a jerk in general or 2) no one else is saying anything, maybe they just didn't get along.
Now back to Emma Kenney's interview, I was kind of shocked. Especially when I followed her, Emmy and Shanola on Twitter in the early days of Shameless and everyone seemed so tight back then. So off to google I went to see what I could dig up. Honestly, besides Emma Kenney's interview, a 'behind the scenes' clip of the showrunner saying he was hesitant to hire Emmy, because he heard she had a reputation, but she proved to him she'd grown up, it was just a few reddit posts of people claiming they either A) worked on a lot near the Shameless lot and could "hear emmy screaming blocks away". B) claiming they knew someone who worked on Shameless and heard things and C) one person claimed they witnessed her yelling at an assistant or crew member about how she had been on set already for 16 hours. Are those stories truthful? We don't know. It's reddit, and no one said they actually worked with Emmy on the set of shameless, so it seems like speculation at best.
Now look at Lea Michele - So many of her Glee co-stars have come out about her attitude and behaviour. Naya Rivera even mentioned the nasty change in their relationship in her book.
So far, Lea Michele seems far more extreme than Emmy, and I don't believe it's fair to paint Emmy as the same as Lea. Let's see what else comes out, if anything does.
It's a movie based on a fantasy/legend. There's no historical evidence that Gawain was a real person, or even King Arthur for that matter. The legend and it's characters may have been based on real individuals and certain events, but at the end of the day, this story is a fantasy, and in fantasy worlds, even if they feature real countries of our world, people of any ethnic background can be knights, lords/ladies, Kings/Queens, etc.
Mr. Nolan seemed like the type of guy who would side with Mr. Perry and tell Neil to listen to his father.
In the event of putting the blame on Mr. Keating, even if Neil had gone to Mr. Nolan as well, I still believe Mr. Nolan would put the blame on Mr. Keating regardless, still saying how Keating encouraged Neil to pursue.
Mr. Nolan doesn't strike me as a sympathetic person, so I don't believe Neil going to him would have changed Keating's fate.
It seemed like Neil wasn't the only one who's future was planned out for him by his father, as he called Charlie and Knox out when they tell him to stand up to his dad, explaining their path is to become a banker and a lawyer (I just rewatched this film the other day), so seeing father's pressuring their sons on a certain path probably was not an uncommon thing going on at that school.
I've seen this movie a dozen times now, and that scene still has me on the edge of my seat every time.
I was just watching this movie today, and I found this post so I kept my eye out for it. Can't make out of the full word but it's ---card Springs.
Could be what the place in this movie is called.
In both versions, Marcy is seen with tea after the incident with the infected Hermit. Karen had been drinking water several times at this point, and showing some symptoms.
Though with the tea, the water is boiled - so it's possible that could have weakened the virus to some extent, we don't know.
So during this time, it can be assumed Marcy has become infected with the virus the same way as Karen.
She also came in contact with the infect Karen the following day, and could have become infected then.
The night Jeff and Bert clash, Bert is seen drinking the infected water, and shows symptoms the following morning.
With Paul, it is possible he contracted the virus from Karen when they were making out before discovering she was sick. He also could have contracted it from simply touching her infected blood, but he definitely becomes infected when he ends up in the water with the infected Hermit.
Someone mentioned Marcy may have gotten the virus when Paul scratched her back - Nope. She was already infected.
Those lines on her back are from him putting pressure there and her skin was already starting to rot.
As they didn't use a condom, it's also possible that Paul got the virus from the infected Marcy.
While Paul's moment of infection is unclear, from either making out with Karen, touching her infected blood, having sex with Marcy or from his "bath" with the infected Hermit, it's obvious that Marcy was already infected when she and Paul hook up, likely becoming infected from drinking the water (thought boiled) and/or also from handling the infected Karen.
