A country singer or an actor?

Any reason he can't be both?
The thing I remember most about Jimmy Dean, aside from the song, "Big Bad John," was his variety show on ABC in the mid sixties.
A regular feature every week was Jimmy talking with an anthropomorphic dog named Rowlf, who was operated and voiced by Jim Henson. This was probably many peoples' introduction to The Muppets.
No it doesn't. That's what I'm saying.
Archie mellowed over the course of All in the Family and Archie Bunker's Place. He may have held certain prejudices but when it came right down to it he would not do harm to anyone of a different ethnicity or religion.
There was an episode in which Stretch Cunningham died and Archie was asked to deliver the eulogy. He didn't know until the funeral that Stretch was actually Jewish. He delivered the eulogy in a somewhat awkward fashion and was borderline offensive. But he didn't refuse to speak and ended by basically saying his life was better for having known Stretch.
When Stephanie Mills was abandoned on the Bunker's doorstep they took her in. In a subsequent episode she was revealed to be Jewish. Archie was conflicted but at the end of the ep he gave her a Star of David pendant necklace.
I do.
I think you summed it up perfectly.
I once got a burger at Hardee's that looked like the advertisement. Only one time, though. But, damn, it was beautiful.
BTW, that's a TEC-9, not an AK-47.
No, I am not a gun nut.
No particular brand of cigarette is prominently shown. That would be product placement.
This is simply a depiction of someone who smoked incessantly.
Reddit! The definitive source for all things Breaking Bad.
No second bathroom is ever seen.
There are various floor plans for the White residence.
One of them does include another bathroom. This does not mean it exists within the the house as depicted on the show.
Provide a link for the plan to which you refer.
Except there is no bathroom off the hallway.
In the White home only one bathroom is shown throughout the series. There should be a second bathroom but there isn't.
If there were a second bathroom why did Walt pee in the sink?
I didn't have to dig. This is well known history.
Since there was no definite order of succession in the Soviet Union it cannot be said that Gorbachev was, "next in line." If Gorbachev was next why was Konstantin Chernenko was made General Secretary when Andropov died?
If you can't get that right what else are you wrong about?
Your original post is fiction. You even call it a story in your subject line. You cannot be taken seriously.

It seems to me that you are confusing this non-event with the very real nuclear false alarm incident which occured a few weeks later.
From Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1983_Soviet_nuclear_false_alarm_incident):
On 26 September 1983, during the Cold War, the Soviet nuclear early warning system Oko reported the launch of one intercontinental ballistic missile with four more missiles behind it, from the United States. These missile attack warnings were suspected to be false alarms by Stanislav Petrov, an engineer of the Soviet Air Defence Forces on duty at the command center of the early-warning system. He decided to wait for corroborating evidence—of which none arrived—rather than immediately relaying the warning up the chain of command. This decision is seen as having prevented a retaliatory nuclear strike against the United States and its NATO allies, which would likely have resulted in a full-scale nuclear war. Investigation of the satellite warning system later determined that the system had indeed malfunctioned.
It was a malfunction in the Soviet system and it might have led to a nuclear exchange but Lieutenant Colonel Petrov's decision to wait prevented this.
Thus, it was a Soviet Air Defense Forces officer that kept a nuclear war from happening, not the U.S.
Korean Air Lines Flight 007 was shot down on September 1, 1983.
You imply that at that time Mikhail Gorbachev was the Soviet Premier, a title he never held, by the way. But Gorbachev was not made General Secretary until March of 1985 so he could not have been the one who would, "...press the button."
Yuri Andropov was General Secretary. But he had been in the hospital since February of that year and, in fact, spent the rest of his life there so he was not spending any nights in a bunker, sleepless or otherwise.
The Soviets were paranoid and that was standard operating procedure for them but not even Ronald Reagan, who chronically feared the Soviet boogeyman which he perceived to be hiding in every shadow, would launch a nuclear missile strike over a downed airliner.

That explains it. And I'm sure you know what it means.
Which word?
What do you think he thinks it means?
What do you think it means?
What does it actually mean?

it's one he made in Triumph of the Will (1935)

It is actually an earlier speech. And I think Zelig used archival footage. In other words, it is Hitler.
Triumph of the Will documents events of September 1934 in Nuremberg. The footage in Zelig is of a rally in and around the Sportpalast in Berlin, probably on February 10 or March 2, 1933.
As for reenactment, compare

to
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nHHCKtiFkwg (documentary footage). Hitler starts speaking around 12:29. Go to 20:56.

Elks Man Of The Year means that the Elks which is an organization like the Masons chose him as their best member. I've never been an Elk, but I think they are more interested in their own little exclusive society than they are hunting.

The Elks Club is not a hunting organization.

This ^. As previously mentioned, it is a fraternal order. Some members may enjoy hunting but it has nothing to do with their membership in The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. And Loren doesn't exemplify their membership requirements.

I know it has been a dozen years since this thread was originated but I just watched The Hill for the first time last night and I immediately started wondering about the mechanics involved in the extended opening shot.
I do not think that the tracks were swept to hide them as you can see them faintly. Any attempt to cover them would probably just make it all the more obvious. It appears the trolley had pretty wide tires and they were quite some distance apart. This would serve to lessen the tracks' noticeability. Still that dolly would have to be very heavy. More than heavy enough to counterbalance the camera and four people on the platform. So maybe there was some attempt to cover them. But I still think they are visible.
I agree with the speculation about the fence although, "rebuilt," would not be the proper term as it would already be constructed and then moved after the trolley passes through the opening in the fence. Speaking of tracks, you can definitely see them where the whole fence apparatus has moved along the outside wall of the building. There is an object covered with a tarp that has some crates sitting on top of it to which the movable part of the fence would be attached. It has been rolled into place before it is seen in the shot to create the illusion that the fence is static but it's tracks are clearly evident. Other giveaways are what seem to be a channel for the fence to travel in, the double fence post where the movable portion meets the fixed portion and the diagonal brace at the first fixed post.
Small imperfections aside, it's still a great shot.

This is really weird.
Yesterday for some unknown reason I found myself thinking about Madge the manicurist in the Palmolive commercials. I could not figure out why she came to mind.
It had to be because I saw the picture in the trending discussions. I did not consciously recognize her and the name Jan Milner meant nothing to me. And I barely glanced at the pic but something must have registered in the subconscious. I did not click on the topic until just a few minutes ago and saw the thread title. It suddenly became clear.
Memory is a funny thing.
I think the Broncos regret hiring him.
Really, after bountygate this guy should be banned from the NFL.
Considering the way Tarantino alters actual events, does it really matter?
